On Thursday, January 16th, HOMME PLISSÉ ISSEY MIYAKE presented its AUTUMN WINTER 2020 Collection at Centre Georges Pompidou, titled “HP3 JAM” to celebrate its third show in Paris. Through the direction of Daniel Ezralow, the show expressed the ease and freedom of HOMME PLISSÉ ISSEY MIYAKE to mix and match clothing, just like playing music in a jam session.

AUTUMN WINTER 2020
This tuxedo series is made with a dense fabric that gives it a sharp silhouette, available in bright colors giving its formal presence a touch of playfulness.
Inspired by a jazz session, this print series features colors and shapes of spontaneous paint splashes and wide brush strokes, like a session with a mix of graphic elements.
This series of sporty coats features prints of music instruments designed by graphic design unit GOO CHOKI PAR*: trumpet, saxophone, double bass, piano, and drums.
*The design unit of three graphic designers Q Asaba, Kento Iitaka, and Rei Ishii who are actively involved in a variety of fields, practicing on a visual communication beyond languages and thoughts.
ISSEY MIYAKE MEN OUTER WEARS
These ISSEY MIYAKE MEN coats and jackets are inspired by the unfolding of polyhedrons, that is a single continuous surface composed of polygons like triangles or squares. While the coats and jackets look three-dimensional, the way they are constructed allows them to fold into flat shapes.
CANVAS DECK SHOES-HI
For this season HOMME PLISSÉ ISSEY MIYAKE introduced a new shoe project with WAKOUWA*. This series of shoes is the product of WAKOUWA's signature high-cut models and HOMME PLISSÉ ISSEY MIYAKE's sense of color, available in 6 colors inspired by the poetry in Manyoshu**.
* The shoe line developed by the director of ANATOMICA Pierre Fournier and the representative of 35SUMMERS Kinji Teramoto that is light and comfortable with anti-slip safety soles.
** The oldest collection of classic Japanese poetry with poems that date back to as early as the 7th century, which provides many detailed accounts of colors in nature.
