AURÉLIEN GUICHARD
The 8th in a line of leading perfumers, Aurélien Guichard was born in Grasse, France in 1975. After obtaining a degree in economics, sociology and politics from a British university, he graduated from a top perfume school run by Givaudan, the world's largest fragrance maker. He inherited a great passion and wealth of knowledge from his famous perfumer father, and a sharp intuition and impeccable sense for materials from his sculptor mother. He created his first successful fragrance in 2003, and is now one of the most celebrated young perfumers in the industry. He worked on the PARFUMS PLEATS PLEASE ISSEY MIYAKE series in 2013.
FABRICE PELLEGRIN
While Fabrice Pellegrin is a “thoroughbred” whose father was also a perfumer, he made his own way and developed his own offbeat style through his commitment to working on the frontline of fragrances. After developing a string of famous fragrances at Robertet and V. Mane Fils, he began working as a perfumer at Firmenich Paris. In 2017, he was selected as Perfumer of the Year by Cosmétique magazine. He stays true to his family history - his grandmother was a jasmine picker and his grandfather was a supplier of natural materials for fragrances - and is strongly committed to ethical, environmentally-friendly perfume making.
